Mayfaire by-the-Lake will be held on May 11 & 12, 2024, from 9 am to 4 pm. The festival is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
Mayfaire by-the-Lake is a juried fine arts festival held on the shores of Lake Morton in downtown Lakeland, Florida. This two-day festival, traditionally held on Mother’s Day weekend, is a premier annual event and is one of the largest outdoor festivals in Central Florida. The festival has been ranked among Sunshine Artists Magazine’s “200 Best Art Shows” for over ten years in a row.

This year’s image, painted by artist Heather Nagy, features a scene familiar to native Lakelanders and Mayfaire visitors alike: the shores of Lake Morton decorated with wandering waterfowl against the backdrop of colorful lily pads and a vibrant Lakeland sky.
