Warren accuses Ober of politicizing state attorney’s office

Hillsborough County State Attorney Mark Ober (a Republican) is facing a challenge on the November ballot from former federal prosecutor, Democrat Andrew Warren.

The two answered questions Friday afternoon at the Tampa Tiger Bay Club. Things became a bit heated when Warren seemed to accuse Ober of playing politics with his office.

Both Ober and Warren also answered a question about how important a defendant’s wealth is if they get caught up in the justice system.
