Concerned members of the public packed this morning’s Tampa city council meeting to sound off on what they feel is targeted use of red-light cameras, police brutality, and Mayor Bob Buckhorn proposal for a citizen review board for police activity in which 9 of the 11 appointees would be assigned by him. Many felt that board with members mostly picked by the mayor does not allow it to be truly independent. We listen to the citizen comments from this morning, recorded by WMNF’s Sean Kinane whose report on the meeting  can found here. We then open up the phone line for listener comments and opinions.
