Wayne Garcia teaches journalism at the USF Tampa campus. He previously worked for the St. Petersburg Times, Tampa Tribune and Creative Loafing, where he was the political editor from 2004-2009.
He joined MidPoint on Thursday to talk about the recent purchase and subsequent dissolution of the Tribune, as well as the political campaign coverage in 2016.
