St.Pete Pride will be kicking off this weekend with a parade on Saturday. It is the largest LGBT event in Florida, attracting around a quarter of a million people every year. On Radioactivity Thursday, we spoke with two people from local religious congregations that are gay-friendly: Jen Daysa, pastor at the Good Samaritan Church in  Pinellas Park, and Greg Stemm  with the Religious Society of Friends- the Quakers in St. Petersburg. They spoke about how they interpret the Bible in a way that embraces the LGBT community and encourages interfaith unity.
