Not many singers are remembered on their 100th Birthday, years after they have passed, but when you’re a Grammy winning, multi-million record seller, whose career spanned from the Swing era in the 40’s to the new wave 80s and you are often referred to as The Voice—people remember.  Especially the people at WMNF, who like to recognize the greatest musicians with multi-band tribute shows.

Don’t miss, what could be the greatest selection of songs ever at one show, Saturday December 12th when WMNF brings over a dozen bands to the stage to do their interpretations of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra.
Although most of the songs Frank Sinatra sang were of the American jazz, lounge and traditional pop variety, WMNF is presenting bands that will not only embrace that sound but others that will expand it to include soul, rock, folk, reggae, country, blues, indie-rock and jam.
Some of the bands scheduled to perform:
Alex/Bella aka AB+ (Winner of the Jimi Hendrix of the Ukulele contest 2015)        Don Juceam as Frank Sinatra        John Hancock
Funny Bunny                               Ronny Elliott                               Rosewood Creek                                     Savants of Soul
Scott Elliott (and Brian Merill, yet to confirm)                 Shoeless Soul                            Soul Purpose                                   Talk to Mark
The Sara Rose Band                        Train Wreck                         Vodkanauts
A sample of some of the songs scheduled to be performed:
All or Nothing at All
All of me
Coffee Song
Come Fly with Me
Fly Me to the Moon
For Once In My Life
