The World View… Between Thanksgiving and Christmas

Did you read the in-depth article by Sabrina Rubin Erdely in Rolling Stone – “A Rape on Campus: A Brutal Assault and Struggle for Justice at UVA?” It happened two years ago – do you think University of Virginia would be investigating if Rolling Stone had not exposed this? And now, all campus fraternity activities have been suspended until January 1 – some penalty considering finals and Christmas vacation are on the horizon.

MARTHA KEMPNER, writer, consultant, and sexual health expert, RH Reality Check, will discuss the situation at the University of Virginia and unfortunately, at way too many other campuses. See, it wasn’t the Grinch who stole Christmas…

Ah, but “The Changer and the Changed” is coming to Tampa to be part of Crescendo’s winter concert Saturday, December 6, 7:30 PM at Ybor HCC., Just spending an evening with CRIS WILLIAMSON and Crescendo lifts ones spirits.

CRIS WILLIAMSON, singer, song writer, her latest release is “Pray Tell: Songs of the Soul.”

As Cris says, “I’ve always been honored to play a part in this Olivia adventure, beginning with the birth of a women’s record company. The talent and strength and friendships that filled these trips were totally indicative of the thing itself and how women can be and, in fact, are. I lead a musician’s life – which I love!”
