Paying respects to the late Dave Swarbrick, member of Fairport Convention, singer & songwriter, revolutionary fiddler, and Folk Rock icon. Part of the folk revival days of the 1960s, he helped create the British Folk Rock sound of the 1970s, and continued performing until his death in June of this year. Join Sean and Bill as we celebrate Swarbrick’s long career on Thursday, 9/15/16, or listen back in the archives.

Music of the Isles still airs on WMNF’s HD2 channel, now called New Sounds.
