The Chicago Mayor’s race & outright legalization of pot in Florida

Share

The first part of the show we talked about the upcoming Chicago mayoral runoff between incumbent Rahm Emanuel and insurgent challenger Chuy Garcia. Chicago Reader political reporter Michael Minder joined us to talk about where the race stands with less than a month to go.

Jodi James from the Florida Cannabis Action Network came on after that. James discounted a published report that FCAN was going to push for their own constitutional amendment to legalize marijuana for all in the Sunshine State. She did talk about the various pot bills pending in the Legislature this session.
