Among the topics discussed on the program: Incoming house speaker Richard Corcoran has tough words for members of the state supreme court; Hillsborough democrats are deeply divided over selecting a new chair – it could have an impact on who is the next state party chair; Obamacare repeal will have a big impact on Florida; A death threat in Tampa comes as the result of some fake news.

We also heard from Suzanne Young, an organizer of a protest taking place in Tampa and around the country on Monday Dec. 12 in coordination with the Women and Allies organization to protest Donald Trump’s threats to women and other vulnerable populations.

A third topic today was going “inside Russia” with Russian scholar Paul Josephson a professor of history at Colby College and a longtime scholar of Russia and the Soviet Union .Josephson discussed Vladimir Putin’s ideology, Russia’s involvement in foreign elections and the Russia-Iran alliance.
