Tom Hall, co-founder of a local PR firm, wants to see a monorail system in Tampa

BY Rob Lorei

Our  guest on Radioactivity Friday was Tom Hall, a co-founder of a large public relations firm that is also known for his efforts to build the Florida Aquarium in Tampa and he helped bring what’s now called The Amalie Arena to downtown Tampa. In recent years he’s been touting a monorail as a way to help the Bay area’s traffic problems. The monorail would link Tampa to St. Petersburg, Brandon, and USF. He spoke at length about his monorail plan as well as how current transportation plans to widen the interstates to accommodate population growth might not work.
