MidPoint for Thursday, September 22 – with Michael Lind and Terry McDonnell

Share

We had two guests speaking to us on the telephone on today’s show.

First up was Michael Lind, a contributing editor at Politico, the National Interest and a columnist for Salon. He’s published numerous books over the past two decades, and also writes for Harper’s, the New Yorker and The New Republic.

We reached out to him after reading his op-ed in last Sunday’s NY Times called, “Can You Have a Good Life If You Don’t Have a Good Job?”.

Also on the program is legendary magazine editor Terry McDonnell, who has just published his memoir, The Accidental Life: An Editor’s Notes on Writing and Writers. McDonnell over the years served as an editor at Rolling Stone, Outside, Smart, Newsweek, Esquire and Sports Illustrated.
