Mental Health and Transforming Teens with special guest Jelani Nichols

Share

Teens participating in Jelani Nichols’s “Motivating the Teen Spirit” program have better mental health outcomes and are less likely to struggle with depression, anxiety, and suicide. Motivating the Teen Spirit’s vision is a world where every teen will have access and choice to become empowered and make integrity-based decisions through self-love as part of a global movement called Teen Spirit. Through this movement, people from every race, religion, and socioeconomic background will be brought together in the same spirit to create healthier and happier teens.

Here’s what I cover with Jelani Nichols in this episode:
1. How Jelani Nichols transformed himself and is now helping others to do the same.
2. What Motivating the Teen Spirit does to help teens transform their lives.
3.  The impact the program is having on individuals and the community.

Jelani Nichols is a 27-year-old who has worked in the emotional intelligence and emotional literacy space for 10-12 years. He is the director of Motivating the Teen Spirit, a program that provides teens with tools for emotional intelligence, decision-making, and self-love.
