Imagine ~ Lovely Intro from the Freak Show’s Grateful Ed -reposted for John Lennon

(originally posted in August, 2015 as a thank you for our Greatest Songs Day donors, it seemed like a good thing to bring back today)

Imagine was the song that WMNF listeners voted as the #1 song in the listener survey, and it does seem like the perfect WMNF song.  What cemented that though was Ed Greene’s moving introduction.   THANK YOU so much to the hundreds of people who donated their hard earned dollars to keep this wonderful community treasure alive, and to the volunteers who came in and made it run smooth as yummy chocolate pudding. THANK YOU to all the Circle of Friends members and to the programmers who keep us vibrant.

But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
