Later this month,on December 19th,   The members of the Electoral College will meet in their individual states state and vote for President and Vice President. Later, on January 6th of next year Congress meets in Washington to count the votes.Under our Constitution we do not have a direct election for the presidency;it is the members of the Electoral College who actually vote for the President. On Radioactivity Friday we talked about how the US ended up with the Electoral College with Professor Paul Boudreaux, a professor at Stetson College of Law in Gulfport who has written extensively about the Electoral College.
