Florida voters to decide on proposed constitutional amendments this election

Share

This election, Florida voters will decide on three proposed constitutional amendments. Today on Radioactivity, Rob Lorei talks about Amendment One with Will Abberger, the campaign manager for the amendment.

Amendment 1 would set aside one-third of documentary stamp taxes – paid when real estate is sold – to conservation measures aimed at protecting drinking water sources, restoring the Everglades, and reviving the state’s historic commitment to preserving natural lands and wildlife habitat.

There is no organized opposition to the amendment- but it has drawn some interesting critics.
