During the week from 1-3pm on Wednesday, you can always expect an eclectic mix of music you won’t hear anywhere else – including Indie, Alternative, AAA & Rock, to R&B, Reggae, Latin & World – you’ll find it all on WMNF in the afternoon!
I have been volunteering since 2018 and worked mostly behind the scenes during the fund drives and at events. Then in 2021 began hosting a show “Rustic Soul” during the overnight hours.
I began subbing for mostly daytime shows when someone could not make it in. Since June 2023 I now get to host It’s the Music on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. On the show we blend all sorts of tunes from multiple decades and multiple genres including r&b/soul, rock, singer/songwriter, Americana, folk, reggae, you name it we have probably played that style at one point or another. I hope you join every Wednesday as we explore music past and present together.
