Burning Up – WMNF’s Tribute to Madonna (Madonna You Say?)

Share

Madonna Louise Ciccone may not strike WMNF listeners as one of our core artists. Maybe she should, when you consider how often she has used popular culture to provoke and titillate.  Mike B. has put together a super fun night to kick off your Labor Day weekend.

WMNF’s tribute show to her, this Thursday’s Burning Up, will bring out that rebel side of her music. Here is the line-up:

8 p.m…DJ Nastysia (spinning music before and during sets, etc.)

8:15..Welcome and MC introduction

8:30..Coco and Homo

9:05..Kathysings4u

9:40..Where Words Fail

10:15..The Evening Committee

10:40..Madonna Look Alike Contest !!!! Bring it! Prizes are a Madonna and more goodie bag – dress in your best period Madonna.

10:55….Scott Elliot

11: 30..Jeremy Gloff

Midnight…Finale with artists and various band members
