A debate on concealed weapons on Florida’s college campuses.

Share

Today’s guests on Radioactivity debate whether guns should be allowed on Florida’s college campuses. The Florida House Criminal Justice Subcommittee has a approved a bill that would lift the ban of licensed concealed firearms on college and university properties. This comes nearly two months after a gunman shot 3 students at Florida State University’s Strozier Library before local police shot him dead . Arguing in favor of the bill is Bill Bunting, who is the Second Amendment Chair with the Florida Republican Party, and against the bill is Marjorie Sanfilippo, Ph.D, who is Associate Dean of Faculty and Professor of Psychology at Eckerd College and a recognized expert on children and firearms.
