Our first guest on Radioactivity Thursday was author Caitlin Shetterly who’s written a new book called Modified: GMO’s and the Threat to Our Food, Our Land, Our Future. Few years ago Caitlin Shetterly was looking for an answer to the illnesses she and her young son were suffering. She traced their illnesses to genetically modified corn. And, as she soon found out, GMO corn is a huge business and it’s nearly impossible to avoid because it’s everywhere- from the food we eat to many of the common household items we use.
Then we spoke with investigative Reporter Greg Palast. The Florida premier of his new film The Best Democracy Money Can Buy: A Tale of Billionaires and Ballot Bandits will take place this Saturday at 2 and 7 PM at the Neel Auditorium on the campus of the State College of Florida. Palast also speaks to those who were purged to learn who there are and why they had been denied the right to vote
