On Friday at the University of Arizona College of Behavioral Sciences in Tucson three well-known thinkers on issues like privacy and terrorism got together for the first time for a two-hour conversation. Well, kind of – one of them (Snowden) has been granted political asylum overseas and joined by video conference. The three are MIT professor and linguist Noam Chomsky, NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, and Intercept co-founding editor Glenn Greenwald. It’s called A Conversation on Privacy and is moderated by Nuala O’Connor, president and CEO of the Center for Democracy and Technology:

We also talked about the results of the presidential caucuses over the weekend in Alaska, Hawai’i and Washington State. Democratic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders won all 3 Democratic Caucuses over the weekend, and has taken 5 of 6 states during last week. But maybe the most talked-about political episode of the weekend was when a tiny bird landed on the podium during a Bernie Sanders speech.
