Today on Radioactivity we talk about manufacturing in the U.S. Once a part of strong sector in the U.S. economy that provided solid middle class salaries to those without college educations, Manufacturing companies have largely moved jobs overseas over the last few decades, leaving mostly lower-waged service sector jobs behind. Today we talk with Scott Paul,President of Alliance for American Manufacturing, about the state of manufacturing in the US, the effects of a higher minimum wage, and whether we can compete for manufacturing jobs globally.
