WMNF’s Larry Lisk will speak about the Tampa Blues

Share

Mo’ Blues Monday, and co-founder of WMNF’s good friends The Suncoast Blues Society, Larry Lisk will be telling you all about the Blues. He usually does a great job of that on the air, but this Wednesday from 6-7pm he will be at the Tampa Bay History Center. You can find out more information here.

From Charlie Brantley and the Honey Dippers to Ray Charles to Diamond Teeth Mary to Damon Fowler and recent Blues Music Award winner for best new artist Selwyn Birchwood, and so many big talents in-between, Tampa has had an impact on the blues.
