Today on Radioactivity we listen to the latest edition of Florida This Week, a political talk show moderated by Radioactivity host Rob Lorei. This Episode’s panel ( Tampa Tribune Columnist Joe Brown, ABC action news Reporter Brendan McLaughlin, Political Consultant April Schiff, Democratic strategist Barry Edwards) tackles the biggest stories in Florida politics, including: Jim Norman’s return to politics following an ethics scandal, who is in charge of a police citizen’s in Tampa: the City Council of Mayor Bob Buckhorn?, An amended press release from the governor’s office that paints Planned Parenthood in an unflattering light, And Vice President Joe Biden’s recent visit to Florida.

Then we look at everything you wanted to know about electric car ownership. Joining us today  local couple Jamie and Kim Robe,who own a Nissan Leaf and a Chevy Volt, about the particulars of recharging, maintaining and driving an electric vehicle. Also joining us is Phil Compton, Tom Krumreich and Frank Jackalone with the Sierra Club, who will be holding an event celebrating the electric car that will include test drives, an electric vehicle rally, and expo on Saturday Sept.12 at  Spa Beach Park, 615 2nd Avenue NE, in downtown St. Petersburg.
