Today on Radioactivity, Host Rob Lorei speaks with local activist Amos Miers, who was with the group Resist RNC, about a recent Tampa Bay Times story reporting that during the RNC, a multi-agency undercover police operation infiltrated and assumed leadership position within protest groups.
Then we look at whether recent torrential rains and flooding in Tampa Bay might be related to climate change. Lorei speaks with David Hastings, Professor Marine Science and Chemistry at Eckerd College and climate scientist, about the unusual weather we have recently experienced.

Man sorry I wasn’t able to listen in. I can’t wait for the archived show. As someone who participated in the RNC activities, I’m concerned about what the article and the claims by TPD and other law enforcement agencies means for civil liberties during these events of significance. And as someone who works for an environmental advocacy organization, I would have liked to have heard Dr. Hasting’s comments.
