Midpoint quizzes listeners on presidential approval ratings, water consumption in farming

Share

Today we have a little fun on Midpoint with a couple of news quizzes. From Washington Post’s Wonkblog we ask listeners to rank the approval ratings of several presidential candidates and fictional characters. Is Darth Vader more popular than Jeb Bush? How about Hillary Clinton vs. Voldemort from Harry Potter? the results may surprise you.

The severe drought in California has brought attention to how water intensive raising and growing certain foods can be. A quiz from the New York Times asks how much water it takes to make a burger or grow a handful of almonds versus taking a shower or doing laundry.
