Behind the Robe… the Job of Judging

Share

Today on Last Call, Warren Elly takes a rare look inside Judging (being the one wearing the robe making life changing decisions.) Do you save a guy from death row? Was that killing covered by Stand Your Ground? What’s the right thing to do for a child whose been abused? Does anyone win a Divorce?

The show welcomes guest Susan Sexton, retired Hillsborough Judge. She was the first woman elected Circuit Judge in Hillsborough County in the 1980s and she was also the youngest. She presided over virtually every division from probate to criminal and family law. She created the Elder Justice Center serving elderly and developmentally disabled people and it became a model for the nation.
