“Examining Your Moral Compass” on Morning Energy

A compass is a device with a floating magnet needle that aligns itself with the Earth’s magnetic field. The compass needle always points northward. If you have a compass and you find north, you can then know any other direction. In addition to physical compasses that is designed to help guide people along their life’s journey, there are also moral compasses as well.

A moral compass has been defined as an internalized set of values and objectives that guide a person with regard to ethical behavior and decision- making.  Another definition is a person’s ability to judge what is right and wrong and act accordingly. Some researchers believe that although, people are born with an innate sense of morality, they don’t create it.  On Morning Energy, we are going to further explore moral compasses as it relates to various areas of our lives….
