On Radioactivity Thursday our guest is David Silverman, president of American Atheists, a group which works to protect the civil liberties of atheists and other secularists, and advocates for the separation of church and state. Silverman has been an atheist since he was 6, and has frequently been a guest on Fox News. He will be speaking about his new book, Fighting God, this Saturday at 3Pm at the Unitarian Church in Clearwater.

I agree with Silverman, religion has done some awful, horrible, things in the name of God. True religion is how we treat others and accept the responsability for our own actions.
